Jersey to Paris VFR (18/03/11):


Take this opportunity to fly from the channel islands and land at many of the small VFR strips in the North of France. Ensure to make use of NDB, ADF and VOR navigation to make this event a success.

Starting at Jersey airport (EGJJ) we will fly and land at airports on the way to our final destination Paris Charles De Gaulle (LFPG).

PRO ATC @ EGGP (13/03/11):
For this session we need as many people as possible for an ATC session at Liverpool with our resident NATS ATC in training Ian McVey. So full ATC procedures will be in operation. All aircraft welcome IFR and VFR. If you are flying IFR, then make you have your SIDS and STARs charts at the ready. If you're flying VFR then have your VFR charts at the ready.

Pro ATC will be opened at Liverpool (EGGP) for any pilots wishing to fly any of the airline routes from the website. Anyone wishing to control the Liverpool airspace please comment below. All hours gained during the session will be transferred to your profile.

Fly Down Under (24/02/11):
Why fly Qantas, when you can fly yourself, spend the day flying from Sydney International airport (YSSY) to the Fiji Islands. A nice and challenging approach awaits you Nadi International Airport (NFFN) to choose your aircraft wisely. All hours gained during the session will be transferred to your profile.

Welcome New Members Session (19/02/11):
This is an opportunity for all new members to join us in a welcome laid back friendly hope session giving opportunities for all the VA to fly as one and welcome the new team. Hope to see you all on the session.

Mountain Flying: (20/02/11):


Take any prop aircraft and fly in the Alps through high approaches, patterns and dangerous landings. Expect the unexpected as the weather may not be on your side, have the umbrella at the ready. All hours gained on the session will be transferred to your profile.


PRO ATC (Inverness, Glasgow and Belfast) (13/02/11):


Pro ATC will be open at Inverness, Glasgow and Belfast. Lets fly up North for a change. Controllers wanted for this event preferably with a good knowledge of ATC operations and SIDs  and STARs. All hours gained during the session will go towards your profile.


Crosswinds at Madeira (10/02/11):


Today is a very windy day at Madeira Airport (LPMA) and a lasting challenge for any pilot approaching the airport. Dust off the cob webs and shine the windows because you’re going to be tested on all of your piloting skills. No helicopters or military aircraft to participate. All hours gained during the session will be transferred to your profile.

Fly the Caribbean - (06/02/11):


How about a nice relaxing flight along the Caribbean belt in the Cessna 172, Cessna Grand Caravan, Mooney Bravo or Beechcraft 350, your choice. Starting at St Martins Princess Juliana Airport (TNCM) work your way down south stopping at as many airports as possible. All hours gained during the session will be transferred to your profile.

European Cargo Run 03/02/11:


Take a heavy aircraft on a cargo run from Dublin International Airport to Nantes airport in France. From there, proceed towards Geneva airport for a full stop landing. All hours gained during the session will be transferred to your profile.
